Recenty I ordered a freehub body from Mavic, and while it didn't take overly long to arrive, there was no option for express shipping. But when I tried to set up order tracking as well as a Mavic account, neither worked because Mavic never sent the response codes needed to complete those processes.
John offers express shipping--which I rarely use but needed in this case. He did not delay in processing my bearings/axle nut order, and he even included a signed, personalized note in the priority mail envelope. Clearly his heart is in his business.

I am living in Germany and use 3 bikes, one for each purpose (Road, MTB, folding bike for travelling). i am 60 years old, with this age you dont need every 2 years a new bike. In the end, I was only missing a spoke for the rim of my Stumpi. the rim is 10 years old and looks like new. unfortunately, the French manufacturer (Mavic) has gone through several bankruptcies, which has a very negative impact on the spare parts situation. the spoke seems to be sold out all over Europe and is no longer being produced. But there is still John from RogueMechanic. He was able to help! I really appreciate that, after all, for most people, cycling is a hobby that is close to nature. Broke a few spokes on my Mavic wheels a year ago. Was told by the bike shop I was unlikely to find replacements. I did end up upgrading my wheels but wanted to check again recently to see if I could find them. My new bike store recommended Rogue Mechanic. So glad they did! John is fantastic and worked with me to get me the right spokes. My wheels are all setup and ready to use again. Thanks John!!!

First and foremost, I took the opportunity to spend the money to have a consultation call to make sure I was on the right track. John did his absolute best to help me trouble shoot my challenges and mitigate the potential cost issues.
We agreed that the only course of action was to buy the repair kit, and things are back to normal.
The kit by Mavic has all the necessary items and I am back on the road with the wheelset. Proper gear hook up again and the sound is correct.
worth the money and will buy a few more kits as spares.

Rogue Mechanic was brilliant. I needed a rim that was probably out of production, bought new 10yrs ago, as I didn't really have the funds to purchase a new wheel set at the moment. They had one in stock at a fair price. At the time I needed it urgently for an upcoming tour, it was bought via thier website without fuss and shipped to Sydney Australia. All to easy, arrived in country withing 5 day, although Customs decided to take 7 days to check it out. But that not the Rogues fault. I'm really happy.

These shim kits just work.BB preload for the UT Chainsets was the only thing in the Group that bothered me. RM has solved it for me. Really not that hard to get installation spot on. I know spin tests are supposed to mean nothing but man it’s nice to see. No creaking after thousands of miles. I have 4 bikes and they all run the shims,

Awesome that you have spare parts that are NLA. I had 26” Mavic Wheels and finding spokes for it was difficult. Thanks to my bike shop, they pointed me to you guys. You guys are a real life saver and you will be the first place to look for any spare bike parts in the future!

Just a word of appreciation to John the Rogue Mechanic for being the only guy out there, that I know of, for offering a very precise method of eliminating Campy's wave washer and solving the dreaded UT creak. My shim kit came packaged with the different sized shims labeled and inserted into a slotted card. Obvious care and attention to detail went into producing this kit. As for the installation, I was able to achieve, on my first try, the perfect combination of shims for an exact adjustment of the Italian threaded UT cups on my vintage GIOS. No more creaking! Thank you Rogue Mechanic you are the man!

Rogue Mechanic had the exact spokes I needed to repair a Mavic wheel and even sent the logo-special-spoke! Very cool addition that makes my restoration project that much better. Small, but cool, detail. Thanks!

Very pleased with the work that John did on my Mavic comete pro carbon rear wheel. It's like new again. I could not find anybody else that would work on it. I am glad I found him.

For the experienced cyclist he is the "go to guy". He had the spokes for my 10 yr signature Ksyrium SL rims when no where else to be found. Had to contact Mavic direct to find him. MAVIC wheels are still king in my book. Love his videos and expertise explaining the history and technical explanations of these wheels. Only wish he would carry new wheels as well to supplement his vast Mavic parts bin. Thanks so much.
